Sea stars, commonly known as starfish, are fascinating marine creatures found in oceans worldwide. These star-shaped animals belong to the phylum Echinodermata and are known for their unique ability to regenerate lost limbs. They have a hard outer skeleton made of calcium carbonate and can have various colors and patterns. Sea stars move using tube feet located on their underside, which also help them to grip and pry open shells for feeding.
