Spinner Sharks are often found in shallow coastal waters and are known to migrate seasonally. They are primarily fish-eaters and are known to feed on a variety of small fish and occasionally squid. Like many shark species, Spinner Sharks face threats from overfishing and habitat degradation. They are also sometimes caught unintentionally as bycatch in commercial fishing operations.
