Anglerfish Rigged is a three-dimensional model of Lophius piscatorius, which is commonly known as the anglerfish, angler, European angler or common monkfish, is an exotic fish in the family Lophiidae.
Lophius piscatorius, commonly called the anglerfish or monkfish, inhabits the deep-sea regions of the North Atlantic Ocean. Its appearance is characterized by a large, flattened head and a wide mouth filled with needle-like teeth. One of the anglerfish's unique features is the presence of a fleshy lure (illicium) on its head, resembling a fishing rod. This adaptation is used to attract prey towards the fish, which it swiftly captures and consumes. The monkfish is prized in culinary circles for its firm, white flesh.
