Space Shuttle External Tank and Rocket Boosters is a 3d model of essential components of NASA's Space Shuttle system, which was used for launching astronauts and payloads into space.
The External Tank was the large, orange-colored fuel tank that provided the liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen propellants to the Space Shuttle's main engines.The Space Shuttle used two Solid Rocket Boosters attached to the sides of the External Tank to provide additional thrust during liftoff. These boosters were filled with solid propellant and were reusable. After separation from the External Tank, they parachuted back to Earth, where they were retrieved from the ocean, refurbished, and used on subsequent missions.
