Saola Standart Pose is a three-dimensional model of saola (Pseudoryx nghetinhensis, spindlehorn, Asian unicorn, or Vu Quang bovid, which is one of the world's rarest large mammals, a forest-dwelling bovine which is native to the Annamite Range in Vietnam and Laos.
The Saola, also known as the Asian unicorn due to its elusive nature, is a rare species of mammal found in the Annamite Range of Vietnam and Laos. With its distinctive long, pointed horns and striking appearance, the Saola is considered a living fossil, as it was only discovered in 1992. Unfortunately, its population is rapidly declining due to habitat loss, hunting, and accidental capture in snares meant for other animals. Conservation efforts are underway to protect this critically endangered species from extinction.
