Realistic Model of Drebbel Submarine Rigged is a 3d model of an early prototype of a submarine, invented by Cornelius Drebbel in the early 17th century.
It was a wooden frame covered in leather and waterproofed with pitch. The submarine was designed to be propelled by oars and could submerge by taking on water and resurface by expelling the water. The Drebbel submarine is considered one of the earliest known submarines and an important development in the history of underwater navigation.
