QuikSCAT Satellite is a 3d model of NASA Earth observation satellite launched in 1999.
It was equipped with a specialized radar instrument called a scatterometer, which measured ocean surface wind speed and direction. QuikSCAT provided valuable data for weather forecasting, climate monitoring, and oceanographic research. The satellite operated until 2009, when it experienced a power failure that ended its mission.
