Characterized by its slender body, long pectoral fins, and vibrant blue coloration, the blue shark is a highly migratory predator. It primarily feeds on small fish and squid. Despite being one of the most widespread shark species, it is classified as Near Threatened due to overfishing and bycatch in commercial fisheries.
