Nutria is a three-dimensional model of nutria, scientifically known as Myocastor coypus, which is a large, semi-aquatic rodent native to South America.
Also called coypu, it resembles a beaver but has a rounder tail. Nutrias are characterized by webbed hind feet, dense fur, and prominent orange incisor teeth. Originally introduced for fur farming, they have established invasive populations in various regions globally. Nutrias are herbivores, feeding on aquatic plants and vegetation. Due to their prolific breeding and impact on ecosystems, efforts are made to manage and control their populations in non-native habitats.
