A mule is a hybrid animal born from the mating of a male donkey and a female horse. Mules combine the best features of both parents, inheriting strength, intelligence, and endurance from donkeys, along with the agility and size of horses. Mules are highly valued for their ability to work in harsh environments. However, they are almost always sterile, unable to reproduce.
