Intrauterine Contraceptive Device is a 3d model of hormone-releasing device for long-term birth control (contraception).
An intrauterine contraceptive system (IUS) is hormone-only contraception. The T-shaped frame of this device has an in-built reservoir that holds the drug Levonorgestrel even when it is in the uterine cavity. It does not release the copper inside the uterus (like the IUD), rather it releases a hormone progestin at regular intervals.
