Iberian Ribbed Newt Rigged is a three-dimensional model of Iberian Ribbed Newt (Pleurodeles waltl), which is an amphibian native to the Iberian Peninsula, particularly Spain and Portugal.
This creature is renowned for its distinctive defense mechanism: it can push its sharp-edged ribs through its skin when threatened, effectively deterring predators. The Iberian Ribbed Newt features a rough, granular skin and a coloration that varies from brown to olive green. Its flattened body shape and fully webbed hind feet make it a skilled swimmer. It mainly resides in slow-moving or stagnant bodies of water, like ponds and marshes. These newts are primarily carnivorous, preying on insects, small crustaceans, and even tadpoles.
