Description

Hollow Ochre Calcium Silicate Block is a three-dimensional model of rectangular stone type block which is a specimen of popular construction material. A calcium silicate blocks (sand lime bricks) are widespread construction material used for masonry and stone works. The production of sand lime bricks involves the mixing of sand, quicklime (calcium oxide), and additives to form a homogenous paste. This paste is then pressed into molds and subjected to high-pressure compaction to create the desired brick shape. Steam curing follows, which helps in the hydration of quicklime, resulting in the formation of calcium silicate. This chemical process imparts strength and durability to the bricks. Once cured, sand lime bricks are ready for use in construction, providing excellent thermal insulation, soundproofing, and resistance to environmental factors.
