It stands at 40.44 meters (132.7 feet) tall and is made of concrete and steel. The statue is considered the largest statue of Jesus Christ in the world, surpassing the more famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil by just a few meters. The statue is a popular tourist attraction and offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains from its viewing platform.
