Autonomous Spaceport Drone Ship is a 3d model of platform used by SpaceX to land and recover rocket boosters during space missions.
It is essentially a large barge that is equipped with engines, thrusters, and other technology to allow it to maintain a stable position in the ocean. The ASDS is used to provide a landing target for the rocket boosters, which return to Earth after completing their part of the mission. By landing on the ASDS, the boosters can be recovered and reused, reducing the cost of space travel.
